This paper highlights the need for multicultural integration strategies within the
Republic of Korea’s military forces as the proportion of multicultural soldiers is expected to
increase by 2025. The study discusses how effective integration of soldiers from diverse
cultural backgrounds can positively impact military cohesion, combat effectiveness, and
organizational culture. Based on domestic and international military case studies, the paper
proposes strategic approaches to promote multicultural integration, seeking ways to
enhance organizational efficiency and operational capability in military organizations.
Limitations and suggestions for future research underscore the necessity and significance
of research on multicultural integration within military contexts.
