초록
This study explores how environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks in global supply chains affect national security, with a particular focus on economic security. By examining regulatory frameworks and corporate case studies in the European Union, the United States, and Japan, the study demonstrates how ESG risks can disrupt international trade, investment, and industrial competitiveness at the national level. It also evaluates Korea’s current status and proposes practical policy measures such as legislation for mandatory supply chain due diligence, capacity-building programs for firms, and enhanced government governance mechanisms. The findings highlight the importance of recognizing ESG not merely as a corporate issue but as a strategic national priority. Based on this perspective, the study offers guidance for Korea to proactively address emerging global standards and establish a more resilient and sustainable supply chain infrastructure.참고문헌 (0)
