This study examines the strategic directions and organizational reform measures of the Republic of Korea military in response to increasing Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) threats. With the rapid advancement of drone technology and growing military threats utilizing such systems, the current response system of our military reveals various limitations in technical, organizational, and legal-institutional aspects. This research analyzes the UAS operation and response strategies of major advanced countries and suggests directions for our military’s development. Specifically, it proposes concrete improvement measures such as strengthening joint operations by integrating dispersed drone-related functions across different service branches, establishing cooperation systems with the civilian sector, and refining relevant legal frameworks.참고문헌 (0)
