초록
This study explores the impact of persistent Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities enabled by affordable and easily operated commercial drones on the traditional concepts of covert maneuver and survivability of ground maneuver forces, and strategies to counter these challenges. In the modern battlefield where drone sensor technology has significantly reduced the effectiveness of Camouflage, Concealment, and Cover (3C) tactics, maneuver forces must develop new survival paradigms including multi-spectral concealment and deception tactics, dispersed operations, integration of electronic warfare capabilities during maneuver, and intelligent utilization of operational environments. Drawing from drone operation cases observed in the Russia-Ukraine war, this study argues that for maneuver forces to actively respond to drone threats, not only technological and tactical changes but also organizational culture changes emphasizing autonomy, creativity, and agility are necessary.참고문헌 (0)
