This study proposes development strategies for naval ship integrated network systems to implement a Smart Navy concept. The research focuses on technological innovation centered on smart ships and big data-based operations, particularly in response to the challenges of decreasing military personnel due to low birth rates. The study identifies three key development areas for integrated network systems. First, the establishment of wireless-wired integrated networks based on next-generation specialized networks to enhance real-time information sharing and operational efficiency. Second, the implementation of big data-based operational systems to support scientific decision-making through comprehensive data analysis and artificial intelligence applications. Third, the strengthening of cybersecurity measures through zero-trust based security systems and AI-based threat detection systems. The research demonstrates that these technological advancements can significantly enhance naval combat capabilities even with limited personnel. The findings suggest that successful implementation of these development strategies will enable the Republic of Korea Navy to transform into a Smart Navy capable of maximizing combat effectiveness with optimal workforce utilization through advanced technology integration.
