This study examines the perception of naval vessel working environment and determinants of service continuity among MZ generation naval officers, addressing the challenge of securing and maintaining naval personnel in an era of declining military resources due to low birth rates. The unique working environment of naval vessels, characterized by confined living spaces, social isolation during long voyages, and communication restrictions, often conflicts with the values of the MZ generation, who prioritize autonomy and work-life balance. The findings indicate that minimizing negative factors of vessel duty while enhancing positive elements such as professional development opportunities and organizational symbolism is crucial for improving service continuity among MZ generation officers. The study proposes practical institutional improvements including the introduction of rotation crew systems, enhancement of communication infrastructure, and expansion of self-development programs, while emphasizing the necessity of innovative changes in naval organizational culture.
