초록

This study explores the emergence and growing influence of FPV (First- Person View) Kamikaze drones in modern military conflicts, with a particular emphasis on their deployment during the Ukraine-Russia war. It examines the tactical benefits and strategic implications of FPV drones, focusing on their cost-efficiency, operational flexibility, and transformative impact on asymmetric warfare. By analyzing recent combat scenarios, the research delves into the Ukrainian military’s integration of FPV drones, detailing their organizational structures and operational techniques. Additionally, the study investigates the international spread of FPV drone technology, addressing its adoption by both state and non-state actors. It highlights the dual-use nature of these drones, which presents both opportunities for military innovation and risks related to misuse by non-state groups. The research concludes by evaluating the challenges posed by the accessibility and proliferation of FPV drones and offers recommendations for international regulatory frameworks to ensure their responsible application while leveraging their potential benefits. This study contributes to ongoing discussions on the evolving dynamics of modern warfare and underscores the critical role of emerging technologies in shaping future military strategies.
